Psychology
Design is more than just making a pretty picture. Everything has purpose: evoke a specific feeling, encourage an interaction, create a conversion. It is more than an art-form, it’s also a psychological process. The cake is not a lie.
User Centered Design
Designing experiences that are focused around how users want to use them from the ground up is the key to a great user experience. There is also a skill in balancing user needs with technical and business requirements.
Hobbies
From sanding, and shaping every part of a model kit for paint and getting the perfect paint mixture for it to exploring other worlds in video games, these are the things that I enjoy but also make my brain tick. I ask questions like how was this done, how deep does this go, what else can I do here? All of this is a cornerstone in my playbook.
